A Beauty Odyssey is an immersive exploration of global beauty, where travel meets self-care. This travel series and editorial platform go beyond product recommendations to uncover the deeper cultural and historical influences that shape beauty around the world.
Each destination reveals how beauty is not just about personal care but an expression of identity, wellness, and artistry. A Beauty Odyssey tells the stories behind beauty traditions—why they matter, how they’ve evolved, and how they can be incorporated into modern routines.
Multi-Cultural
Beauty is a global language, shaped by centuries of tradition, environment, and culture. Every destination offers a unique perspective on self-care. By learning from local experts, we honor beauty traditions with authenticity and respect. This is not about appropriation but appreciation.
Sustainable Beauty
True beauty is in harmony with nature, and A Beauty Odyssey is committed to highlighting sustainable, ethically sourced, and environmentally conscious practices. Buying less but better—choosing products and experiences that respect the earth and the communities that create them.
Accessible Luxury
While we explore high-end beauty destinations and prestige products, our focus is on making global beauty wisdom practical and adaptable. With an emphasis on timeless rituals, A Beauty Odyssey strives to make self-care an enriching and attainable experience—wherever you are in the world.

I came to Los Angeles when I was four years old.
The drive from Minnesota took my family across the United States, through places I’d never heard of like Las Vegas and Denver. There was no internet… no cell phones. Just a paperback, spiral-bound Thomas Guide and a uHaul truck. My young mother had dreams of becoming an actress and recruited her husband, daughter, and cat as lieutenants on a journey that would permanently change our lives.
Growing up, I took the bus across Los Angeles, discovering a freedom most of my peers were not allowed to experience. Freedom didn’t need to be glamorous to be exciting. There was beauty on the streets of LA: the murals, the hidden restaurants, the mom and pop boutiques.
During the summers, I had the opportunity to discover new places. I always kept a journal.
